Melbourne vs. Melbourne

Monday, 7 April 2008 23:59 by Beatrice

Melbourne Australia is just slightly bigger than Melbourne Florida, (population: 3.8 million people vs. 80,000 people) and quite a fun and lively city. I delivered the SCMDM workshop at the Microsoft office in the morning and found out that Australians are way ahead in the mobility market. Matter of fact, Windows Mobile seems to dominate here, so there was no need to talk up mobility opportunities, Aussies get it!

There is about a two month delay in Windows Mobile 6.1 hitting the market here, but that gives partners the time to talk it up.

The Microsoft office is located in the Pricewaterhouse Coopers building, as seen from the Skydeck which overlooks Melbourne, Australia

A view from the Skydeck down to St. Patrick's Cathredal, surrounded by skyscrapers.
