Free Microsoft Forefront training

Monday, 12 May 2008 15:02 by Beatrice

If you have followed what is going to be new in Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Essential Business Server 2008 you are already aware of the inclusion of Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server in both products.

Also, the last Action Pack CDs shipped with Forefront Client Security CDs - so how can you get to up to speed and be ready when SBS2008 and EBS2008 ships? Take an online class before RTM!

The links below will ask for a .net passport and you may have to set up an account with Microsoft e-learning, but this is a small price to pay for free online training.

Clinic 6080: Deploying Microsoft® Forefront™ Server Security Products

Clinic 6079: Managing and Troubleshooting Operations in Microsoft® Forefront™ Client Security

Quite frankly, I have learned that if you spend an hour of reading or training on something new, it will be much easier to work with the product instead of getting all hosed up before deciding to RTFM (read the full manual)  :)

Enjoy!
