The IT Pro Conference 2008 in New Orleans was kicked of this morning by SBS MVP Jeff Middleton. He delivered the keynote with a raspy voice talking about the focus of this year's conference on small business challenges. Most of the sessions will cover Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Essential Business Server, migrating server platforms and infrastructure as well as backup and recovery.
Between the SBS MVPs and some of the SBS development team members that are here the next three days should be rather interesting. The SBS Diva shared that she'll title her session "Vista Sucks", so I know it is going to be good!
Unfortunately I forgot to grab my camera therefore pictures are shot with my WM device which turned out ok.
This picture above is from a panel session where Matt Makowicz, Erick Simpson, Roger Otterson and Dave Nickason shared industry insights and answered questions on managed services.
If you have never been to an IT conference before, I can only recommend that you consider attending one at least once and then decide if it is worth your time and money.
